The mission of the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) is to create innovative and genuine opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to participate fully in, and contribute meaningfully to, their communities as valued members. DDS serves over 45,000 vulnerable individuals throughout their lifetimes, providing a spectrum of day, employment, and residential supports. An agency of the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS), DDS manages a $2.7 billion annual operating budget and is served by over 5,500 staff, the largest state employee workforce of any agency in the Massachusetts executive branch of government.

DDS Metro Region Assistive Technology Fair April 22, 2024 10:30am-2:30pm Sheraton Framingham Hotel & Conference Center 1657 Worcester Road, Framingham, MA 01701 Products and services showcased include, but are not limited to: Smart Home Technology, Health/Medical, Employment Tools, Recreation/Leisure, Social/Emotional, Adaptive Equipment, Transportation, Executive Functioning/Organizational, Remote Supports and Monitoring, and more! Join us for a day of visiting with Assistive Technology vendors in the ballroom, participating in demonstrations, attending presentations, and learning about new technology to support independence. Our goal is to provide resources, education, and technology to community members, including individuals with disabilities, family members, provider agency staff, state agency staff, and teachers.
