We are partnering with the American Chemical Society to provide some extra science activities during your trip to the museum to kick off National Chemistry Week. This year we will be exploring the role magnets, color, light, and chemical reactions have in producing images we can see. Join us October 19th (11am-4pm) and October 20th (1pm-4pm) at the museum for Chemfest. • A huge thank you goes out to Honda for their generous funding support for several projects with both the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery and SunWatch Village! Their investment in our educational initiatives and reconstruction efforts has made a world of difference, and we're incredibly grateful for their continued partnership. During the 2023-2024 school year, their support significantly expanded our ability to reach underserved K-12 students with STEM programming. We engaged 304 students at Kettering City schools with a series of educator led programs including classroom programs and field trips to both of our locations. Additionally, Honda's generous support played a crucial role in funding various reconstructive efforts at SunWatch, including the renovation of the stockade. We are thrilled to announce that Honda has yet again awarded us with funding for our local school programming to bring STEM learning to our community. Not only that, but they have also committed to helping us continue our Village repairs and reconstruction efforts at SunWatch. We are deeply grateful for Honda's commitment to education and community development. Together, we're making a meaningful impact in our community. Thank you, Honda! #TeamHondaCares
