A special celebration for 45 years of dedication! Jim Stewart, Process Engineering Manager. A true story. The day of his interview, he was asked to start work that afternoon, and he has been with us 45 years! Jim, a veteran of the US Navy, started out at the Dayton Rogers Manufacturing facility in Eugene, Oregon. He worked on the manufacturing floor drilling holes, moving to the press room setup, then promoted to second shift supervisor where he learned to run the Amada turret presses. Eventually, he became the day shift lead. In 1986 he was moved to process engineering. In 1993 he transferred to the Dayton Rogers of Texas facility. He had two roles. Process Engineering Manager as well as Purchaser. He has remained in process engineering since. Jim is currently on the Precision Metalforming Association Lone Star District Board as Golf Chair. On a personal side, Jim has been married 43 years. He and his wife have 4 children and 3 granddaughters. He loves golfing, riding his motorcycle and hunting. As you can see, a huge University of Oregon fan!
