On Sunday, August 11, Stand Up to Trash will commemorate its fourth anniversary. The event starts with a yoga session at Baby Beach, followed by a beach cleanup to celebrate the organization’s achievements. Attendees are also invited to a Lunch & Learn at the Ocean Institute, where the Board of Directors will present the significant milestones reached over the last four years. More exciting news from the Commercial Core. Today, we poured the first section of slab on grade for the new parking structure. Approximately 555 yards of concrete covering approximately 28,000sf and +\-20% of the total slab on grade. We cannot wait to accommodate more guests to the beautiful Dana Point Harbor. On June 14, the California Coastal Commission unanimously approved an amendment allowing for the development of two new hotels in Dana Point Harbor, the Dana House and Surf Lodge, to be developed by R.D. Olson Development. These hotels will enhance the harbor experience for visitors and residents, providing fresh accommodations and contributing to the vibrant community of Dana Point through a comprehensive local benefits package.
