This challenge was significant for me in that not only was I new to the company, but also the application and the team. Upon my return to DTFS in 2008. I was part of the first wave of employees to have the luxury of being dual branded with MBFS/DTFS experience. Making the move to a small business credit analyst role with DTFS in 2010 exposed me to the commercial side of business and I really enjoyed my time in that role, learning about how our commercial business varies from the consumer side. Years later, I had the opportunity to lead the DTFS collections team, which then offered me an opportunity to work in Regional Operations Analyst, collaborating with the Americas Region (Canada, Mexico, Brazil and Argentina) whose primary business is commercial. ✅ What advice did they give you that was the most impactful in how you do your job? I've learned that it is OK to show vulnerability. I know I don’t know everything, so if someone asks me a question to which I don't know the answer, I first try to think of someone who might, and then go with that person so that we can find out together. Taking this approach also empowers that other person to not be afraid to ask questions and know they are not alone when faced with new challenges. ✅ What is your proudest accomplishment at DTFS? Every time a colleague under my supervision or whom I’ve mentored earns a promotion, there is a great sense of pride.
