Exciting news from the Fresh Water Institute! We’re celebrating an important milestone in the cleanup of the Cuyahoga River, thanks to the Ohio Lake Erie Commission! 🎉What does this mean for you? Fewer beach closings and more fun for swimming, paddling, and boating! We're now past the halfway mark in removing “Beneficial Use Impairments” (BUIs) that designate our river as an “Area of Concern”. A big shoutout to the Cuyahoga River Area of Concern committee for helping us restore our community treasure! 💧🌊 This is what the Fresh Water Institute is all about! Our goal is to help protect our freshwater resources, while spreading awareness, and making sure everyone can enjoy our Great Lakes. Want to learn more?
