The banking and financial services industry is fast-paced and high-pressure. There’s little room for error and employees often face long hours and heavy workloads. CuraLinc’s latest study of eight major industries found that employees in the banking and financial services sector presented with higher rates of clinical anxiety than those in four other major industries, including manufacturing, transportation, retail and government. In addition, 25% met the criteria for clinical depression. The good news is that data showed clinically significant improvements after employees received high-quality personalized treatment. Among those who completed treatment through CuraLinc’s EAP, 76% recovered to no longer be at risk of anxiety, and 82% recovered to no longer be at risk of depression. In addition, those experiencing a productivity problem before starting treatment recouped an average of 39 hours per month after completing treatment.
