  • One week from Friday! We're thrilled to participate in the 2024 Arts & Culture Summit in Beverly, MA. While Creative Collective isn't organizing this event, we're passionate supporters because it aligns perfectly with our mission of fostering a thriving local creative ecosystem. This event is presented by the Essex County Community Foundation Creative County Initiative. Why are we so excited? This summit celebrates the artists and creators who make Essex County more vibrant and resilient every day. It's a unique opportunity to: Connect with fellow creatives and community leaders Learn from an impressive lineup of speakers and performers Explore emerging trends and collective challenges in our region Be inspired by innovative work happening right here in Essex County The event features an incredible roster of presenters, including leaders from Historic New England, New England Foundation for the Arts, and Mass Humanities. Plus, you'll experience performances by local artists like Combo Sabroso, Cultura Latina, and poet January Gill O'Neil. At Creative Collective, we believe in the power of bringing together creativity, community, and commerce. This summit embodies that spirit, offering a day of learning, networking, and inspiration that can help our local creative economy not just survive, but thrive. Let's show up in force to support our creative community and demonstrate the vibrant, innovative spirit of Essex County! #EssexCountyCreatives #ArtsAndCultureSummit #CommunityBuilding #LocalCreativeEconomy https://lnkd.in/e2p3MVED

  • What a pleasure it has been to work with @jahnyahstudios_ and @lynnmuseum on the Final Fridays series this year. Final Fridays is a monthly series of themed activations that happen in Downtown Lynn, at Frederick Douglass Park on the Final Friday of every month through the Spring, Summer and even Fall! This year we have been working closely to support and amplify the work that Jah'Nyah has done in producing these events with a strong focus on giving space and support to young creators. The Collective has provided consultations, marketing support and documentation (Special thanks to @mindswithpurpose for the assists!) and the success of these events has been off the charts! We have two more left to work on this year and we welcome you to come and experience these true community driven (free) events! Thanks to @my_tdi Creative Cities for supporting this initiative. This past month was doubly special as we were able to invite our members to network at the museum before the event and they sure did show up! @creative_lynnma

  • As we reflect on the vibrant month of July, Creative Collective celebrates a month filled with exciting events and community engagement across the North Shore. From Salem to Lynn and beyond, our team has been at the heart of numerous projects, supporting local businesses, and enriching community life. Here’s a look at some of the key highlights that made July so special, while showcasing just a fraction of the Collective’s ongoing impact. 🎉 We kicked off the month with Salem Celebrates the 4th, featuring music, food, and fireworks 🎆. We also celebrated the reopening of Melt with a ribbon cutting by our friends at the Salem Chamber. Our team filmed the Unique Experiences series, got an exclusive sneak peek at PEM's Ghost Box 👻, and visited members in their new spaces 🏚. We hosted Coffee with the Collective at the Salem Waterfront ☕ and enjoyed our Creative Collective Connects Night at the Lynn Museum, featuring Final Fridays' Graffiti Get Down 🎭. And then we wrapped it all up by dancing the night away at the Beverly Main Streets Block Party! Our ongoing projects included working with the North of Boston CVB and developing community engagement strategies for the Lynn Food Policy Council 🌱. Creative Collective’s July was a testament to our dedication to fostering creativity, connection, and community across Essex County. Stay tuned for more exciting moments in August! 🌿✨
