Create Common Good (CCG) seeks a CEO with an entrepreneurial spirit, love for CCG’s mission and values, and deep experience in fundraising to help us achieve our mission. CCG is a passionate, business-minded organization with a talented team dedicated to serving individuals with hurdles to employment as they work to gain new skills and achieve self-sufficiency. At our commercial kitchen and cafeteria in the AmeriBen building in Meridian, our dedicated staff provides a place of safety and empowerment for those seeking a fresh start in life. Our Foodservice Training and Job Placement Program operates as a simulated work environment to provide hands-on experience with preparing and serving affordable, freshly made lunches to the community. CCG also partners with the Idaho Department of Correction to bring our Foodservice Training Program into the Idaho prison facilities, thereby reducing the time and stress of unemployment for the recently released individuals by preparing them for the workforce BEFORE they leave. Read more about CCG at WWW.createcommongood.org As the key management leader of CCG, the CEO provides high integrity leadership and is responsible for the administration, programs, strategic plan and financial health of the organization. Reporting to the Board, the CEO will manage a staff of six; provide oversight of all operations and training; and lead development and fundraising, marketing and community outreach efforts. It is crucial that the CEO has a passion and vision for fundraising and embraces and models CCG’s core values of Gratitude, Engagement and Empowerment. To apply, please email a letter of interest and resume to [email protected] by Thursday, March 28. Applications are only accepted electronically; no calls please. CCG aims to have a new CEO in place by early June 2024. CCG is an equal opportunity employer. https://lnkd.in/gSDNCkYE

About us
Create Common Good (CCG) is a 501(c)3 non-profit social enterprise whose mission is to help others achieve self-sufficiency and financial independence by providing food service job training and job placement assistance to people with barriers to employment. Refugees, immigrants, individuals escaping domestic violence, or those with incarceration or addiction in their past have all identified barriers and successfully overcome them through CCG's training and job placement program. Create Common Good is building a sustainable and replicable model that does not rely exclusively on grants and donations to achieve its mission. Rather, we are modeling self-sufficiency by generating sustainable, repeatable revenue through our business-to-business food production that leverages the vital investment of our donors to create longer-lasting impact.
