Opening Doors for Homeless Youth
About us
Follow the website link above to support our mission on #GivingTuesday ! At Covenant House Georgia, we are much more than a shelter. We provide unconditional love and comprehensive support so that our youth can and will realize their fullest potential. In fact, seeing their potential is our greatest motivation. We are optimistic about the power of a stable, loving environment to inspire a fresh start in their lives. It is a privilege to support our youth during some of their most formative years. We empower them to finish high school, start college, gain employment, live independently, and ultimately step out into the world knowing they are prepared to be successful.

For the past two years, Covenant House Georgia has partnered with Notes for Notes, Inc., an organization that provides free access to musical instruments and recording equipment, aiming to inspire a positive perspective on the music industry. Recently, we collaborated with them and Gas South to create a dedicated studio space on our campus where our young people can explore their creative talents. Coming from a family of musicians, Jayden was thrilled to continue the family tradition by participating in Notes for Notes. Jen from Notes for Notes shared, "I was very impressed with Jayden! He never lets his frustration get the better of him and is motivated to do his art justice." To learn how you can help young people pursue their dreams, visit our website!

September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month 🧡 We know that mental health and youth homelessness are deeply connected. Many young people experiencing homelessness also face overwhelming mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, and thoughts of suicide. No one should face these struggles alone. Let’s break the silence, provide support, and help build a world where all youth feel seen, safe, and supported. #YouAreNotAlone

According to Atlanta Civic Center Circle, over 2,000 Atlanta Public School students experienced homelessness during the 2022-2023 school year. At Covenant House Georgia, we provide every young person who walks through our doors the opportunity to continue or start their educational journey. Our dedicated staff and case managers work closely with them to create and implement personalized plans. Join us in the fight to END youth homelessness.
