About us
End to End Solutions to Your Most Difficult Problems. Corvid is a small business that provides technology-based solutions to a diverse customer base ranging from the Missile Defense Agency to NASCAR. Founded in 2004, we are a group of over 140 engineers and scientists, about 3/4ths with master’s degrees or Ph.D.’s, that provide end-to-end solutions including concept development, design, optimization, build, and test. We leverage the predictive capability of our high-fidelity computational physics solvers, indigenous massively parallel supercomputer system, prototyping plant, and ballistics and mechanics lab to investigate a variety of high-rate physics phenomena. The results are complex engineering solutions for a variety of applications; aircraft, ballistic missile defense, motorsports, armor development, biological systems, and missile and warhead design and development. These results are achieved with optimal design and cost efficiency due to the predictive capability of Corvid’s tools and our in-house, end-to-end integrated approach, which differentiates Corvid from the market. Corvid’s main campus is located in Mooresville, NC, and our satellite offices are located in Alexandria, VA, and Huntsville, AL. Corvid is a CNI Company and functions as a subsidiary of CNI Government, LLC.

This past weekend, we hosted our fourth annual company-wide triathlon at Corvid’s Lake Norman Headquarters! Forty-three athletes participated in the event, with the support of ten amazing volunteers, and over fifty spectators! Following the race, everyone was invited to enjoy some slow-cooked barbeque with family and friends. We’re excited to announce that we’ll be donating this year’s proceeds to FeedNC. FeedNC is a non-profit organization that strives to decrease food waste within the community, educate people through ongoing advocacy efforts, and ultimately improve the quality of life for families facing financial hardships. We wanted to give a huge thank you to everyone who made this event possible, including our generous supporters, dedicated athletes, and volunteers!

We are thrilled to announce the expansion of Corvid’s campus with our new 200,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility! As Corvid continues to provide comprehensive end-to-end solutions, we've grown from physics-based modeling and design, prototyping, and testing, into the manufacture, integration and qualification of complex flight and ground systems. This week, we held a beam signing ceremony to celebrate the completion of the structural framework, marking a major milestone in creating an engineering hub where research, development, design, and manufacturing come together on one innovative campus.
