A big #NIL week for Duke Athletics men’s basketball phenom Cooper Flagg. —— 1. Flagg signed a partnership with CORT, who outfitted his new home in Durham, North Carolina with furniture and other home decor. (https://lnkd.in/edFX6UAs) 2. He also signed an NIL partnership with Gatorade, making him the first men’s college basketball player to sign a deal with the beverage brand. (https://lnkd.in/ezuTZH8K) —— Although Flagg has just begun his college basketball career (which will likely end in a few months as he’s projected to be the #1 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft), he has a growing NIL portfolio, including SLAM, New Era Cap and New Balance. He's also built a sizable social media presence, which includes: *840K followers on Instagram *49K followers on TikTok *22K followers on X/Twitter Flagg and his personal/business team have done an excellent job of securing partnerships with brands that will most likely carry over with him as he transitions to the NBA. (And I wouldn't be surprised if he gets a New Balance signature shoe.)
