Andrzej Klesyk and Vincent Vandendael join the Supervisory Board of MJM Holdings SA, a leader in the insurance and reinsurance brokerage market in Poland. The Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of MJM Holdings SA approved the appointment of Andrzej Klesyk and Vincent Vandendael to the Supervisory Board of the Company. "The experience of Andrzej and Vincent will strengthen our expertise in the Polish insurance and reinsurance market. I am honoured that they have decided to join us and I am sure their presence will only accelerate the continued strong growth of our company. The challenges that lie ahead of us, in particular those concerning an active role in M&A, consolidation of the Polish market, as well as the development of our unique venture, i.e. MJM MGA, require the involvement of experts with multidimensional market experience and knowledge.," says Marcin Ślotała, CEO of MJM Holdings. Andrzej Klesyk will take the position of the Chairman of the Supervisory Board. He brings a wealth of professional experience including as a managing partner at Cornerstone Investment Management and the CEO of PZU from 2007 to 2015. Previously, he worked at the Ministry of Ownership Transformations in addition to co-founding Handlobank and Bank Inteligo, the latter of which was one of the first on-line banks in Poland. From 1993 to 2000, he worked at the McKinsey & Company in London, and also served as a Partner at Boston Consulting Group for over 4 years. Andrzej Klesyk graduated from the Catholic University of Lublin and also completed the MBA programme at Harvard Business School. It is undoubtedly a great honour to chair the Supervisory Board of this market-leading, continually dynamic and innovative company. The other newly appointed Supervisory Board member, Vincent Vandendael, has extensive international experience. Recently, he served as the CEO of Everest Global Markets and its Lloyd’s Syndicate 2786 and chairman of the Ireland board. Prior to that he was the Global Chief Commercial Officer for Lloyd’s of London and the Chief Executive of Lloyd’s Europe in Brussels. Before joining Lloyd’s he worked for almost two decades for Zurich Financial Services. "Vincent's presence in the Supervisory Board strengthens our resources and commercial relations on international markets, which are crucial for building the MJM MGA platform," Michał Chmielewski, Vice President of the Holding for International Affairs, emphasized.
