It's no exaggeration to say that attending Cornell University changed my life; therefore, it's a tremendous honor to be featured in the most recent Cornellians Alumni Magazine. Special thanks to Melissa Newcomb for writing this piece in which I talked about my journey to, through and post Cornell. From learning about what I'm passionate about to meeting my wife Hally Bayer and ultimately dreaming up the Saxbys Experiential Learning Platform while an Entrepreneur in Residence, I'm forever grateful to Cornell for helping me find the best version of myself and prepare me to make a difference in the world. https://lnkd.in/eedd4ndY

Executive Strategist Specializing in Innovation, Brand & Marketing | Cornell Accelerator Fellow | Team Canada Modern Pentathlete
Last week, our cohort capped off the Cornell University Johnson Summer Startup Accelerator (JSSA) with the demo day in New York City. 👩💼🗽🚀 The JSSA brought together MBA students from across the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business programs — from metro NYC, Americas (my program!), Cornell Tech, Ithaca residential and the Cornell Weil School of Medicine and Health. From ag-tech to fin-tech to real estate and medical startups bridging inequity gaps, this group covered the industry gamut and delivered on pitches. Taking part in this program as Founder of Relays was one of the best experiences in my MBA time at Cornell — the speakers and workshop resources for student entrepreneurs are top-notch (thanks program leads Ken Rother , Gregory Ray, PhD, MBA and Adam MacDonald !) For me, it was motivating to see the range of impact these students are driving across their industries, and extra inspiring to be in an accelerator full of so many boss women! Special shout out to our MBA Americas Dean Manoj Thomas for attending and speaking to the calibre of this program. Go Big Red! 🐻

It's hard to believe it's been a week since finance analysts and associates gathered at New York University for the #ClimateWeekNYC edition of our Wall Street Sustainability Forum for Young Professionals. Money talks. And these future #climateaction leaders were there to listen. Thank you to the Minister of Economy & Finance of Uruguay Azucena Arbeleche for opening this event that gave #WallStreet early professionals and graduate business students an opportunity to hear from global leaders on green finance and how to catalyze capital markets through public-private partnerships. Speakers included EBRD's Harry Boyd-Carpenter, Morgan Stanley's Courtney Thompson, NYU Stern School of Business' Johannes Stroebel, HSBC's Christian Deseglise, Green Climate Fund's Kavita Sinha, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)'s Campbell Howe, ALTÉRRA's Jennifer Park, and Cornell SC Johnson College of Business' Alissa M. Kleinnijenhuis. #climatefinance
