The community management team at Pinehurst, A Conifer Community in East Patchogue, NY, recently hosted their 2nd annual Fall Festival, creating a warm and inviting space for residents and local vendors to come together. The event had 34 vendors who set up booths, offering a variety of locally crafted products for residents to purchase. While supporting local businesses and the East Patchogue community, Fall Festival gives the opportunity for residents and community members to come together and celebrate the change of season with neighbors and friends. The spirit of unity extended beyond just shopping. The local Boy Scout Troop actively participated by generously offering water and snacks to event-goers. Additionally, Suffolk County Legislator Dominick Thorne attended the event and graciously arranged local organizations to replenish the Pinehurst food pantry throughout the year with donations. Conifer takes great pride in supporting both the local community and its residents, and the success of this year's Fall Festival is a testament to that commitment. The festival succeeded not just as a celebration of the season, but as a meaningful effort to bring neighbors together, strengthen local bonds, and address the needs of the community in a lasting and impactful way. #AffordableHousing #CommunityEvent #ResidentFocused

Conifer is proud to have received the Preservation Initiative Award from The Historic Albany Foundation for Station 25. This development underscores our deep commitment to both affordable housing and historic preservation. Located in Albany’s thriving Park South neighborhood, Station 25 represents a significant milestone in providing high-quality, affordable homes for families in the community. This development includes a newly constructed five-story building, paired with the meticulous rehabilitation of a historic structure at 10 Morris Street. This preserved building once served as the original Fire Signal Equipment Building for the Albany Fire Department from 1917 until its closure in 1967. By revitalizing this piece of Albany’s history, we not only bring new life to a historic structure but also weave the city’s rich legacy into the fabric of modern living. At Conifer, we believe that affordable housing is about more than constructing buildings—it’s about creating homes, fostering communities, and preserving the stories that have shaped neighborhoods like Park South. The restoration of this historic structure is significant because it allows us to maintain an important piece of Albany's heritage, while simultaneously addressing the urgent need for affordable housing. By blending the old with the new, Station 25 honors Albany’s past while offering families a bright, secure future. #AffordableHousing #PreservationInitiativeAward #CommunityDevelopment
