#MilestoneMonday: Our very own Teen Outreach Program (TOP) Director, Tina McNutt, was recently cited in an article in Parents, where she shares her expertise on exposing young girls to STEM through Mentees on the Move, a mentoring program here at CPSFL. "Just like we hand a baby doll to our young girls, we can have opportunities for them in STEM—building things, creating, and problem-solving," she says. "Do hands-on activities that help girls build confidence, create ideas, and build problem-solving skills." Congratulations Tina! #FlashbackFriday: Earlier today, our team participated in Feed the Need, a community outreach cookout aimed at supporting the unsheltered population of Riviera Beach. This important initiative took take place at the Wells Recreation Center, and brought together outreach organizations from across Palm Beach County to provide vital services and resources to those in need. Another Housing Success! CPSFL worked with new homeowner, Teneisha, to purchase a three bedroom, two and a half bathroom home in the historical neighborhood of Northwood Hills. Over the past three years, Teneisha engaged in counseling services which included budgeting, increasing her income and worked closely with Community Development Lending Manager, Ana Lopez.
