That's a wrap for the 2023 Business Basecamp season! We started our last week’s Basecamp off touring EVRAZ North America in Pueblo with Sen. Nick Hinrichsen and learning about their green production, then explored the Historic Arkansas Riverwalk of Pueblo_HARP AUTHORITY to learn about local businesses and tourism efforts. After our trip to Pueblo, we learned about the role of small airports at the Meadow Lake Airport and adaptive recreation options for people with disabilities at Overdrive Raceway with Rep. Don Wilson. We ended the day with a great dinner at The Flying Horse. A huge thank you to our cohort of host legislators: Sen. Nick Hinrichsen, Rep. Don Wilson, Rep. Meghan Lukens, Rep. William Lindstedt, Sen. Byron Pelton, Rep. Naquetta Ricks, MBA, Rep. Rick Taggart, and Sen. Janice Marchman. All of you helped us learn more about the diversity of our state. Thank you also to this season's sponsors United Airlines, PHARMA, Pinnacol Assurance, and AT&T.
