Such a unique model that allows young people to get real world experience while being involved in your own commmunity! There's even a Code Ninjas at the Opportunity Central! "Opportunity Central, also known as the OC, is an innovative approach to education. Students get a traditional education with math, English and science while also learning life skills through on-the-job training — at a mall run by the school! Students work jobs such as baristas and florists with the hope of developing career-ready skills by the time they graduate. NBC’s Kathy Park reports for TODAY."

⚡ Our Ninjas had an electrifying time learning about circuits from their Sensei! They explored how electricity works and even built their own circuits! 💡🔌 Watching these young minds light up with curiosity and creativity is what Code Ninjas is all about. #STEM #FutureInventors #CodeNinjas #HandsOnLearning #YoungEngineers

We're proud to partner with Scott Kelly to show kids that coding is pretty much the coolest thing on the planet (and beyond)! The benefits of learning to code go way beyond programming skills - kids can also develop resilience, jumpstart their creativity, develop logical thinking skills, boost their confidence, and so much more! #CodingIsCool #CodeNinjas

Check out our Mission to Hubble game tutorial!
The awesome Code Ninjas Education Team have teamed up with US Astronaut Scott Kelly to create a cool, free Back to School activity in Microsoft MakeCode that kids can get stuck into from the comfort of their own home :) It's a perfect project for a rainy weekend afternoon. Arjan Ellingson, you will be missed! Your contributions at Code Ninjas have made an incredible difference, and the positive impact you’ve had on so many ninjas is truly inspiring. Thank you for everything!
This week marks the end of an incredible journey working at Code Ninjas - Chanhassen, a learning center focused on game development. I have worked here for 3½ years, and am more than fortunate to have grown through this experience. Through my time here, I have had the privilege of assisting over 200 bright minds build countless games, ran 20+ birthdays, and helped integrate 3D printing into our clubs and camps curriculum. I worked alongside over 30 amazing coworkers and 4 directors who have come and gone while I remained steady in the community. What I will miss most, however, is growing alongside the many of the kids I've mentored. Many of these kids I have known for the entirety of my time working here, and watching them grow in their passion for programming has been the most rewarding aspect of this job. I am proud to have played a role in shaping the future's generation of STEM innovators, and hope that Code Ninjas continues to be a prominent STEM education facility. I’m incredibly grateful to a few people who made this journey unforgettable. First, a huge thank you to Christopher Kratoska for getting me this job despite my lack of experience. He took a chance on me within a company that has truly revolutionized my life and became an influential first mentor. To Jared Fernandes for being not only one of my closet friends but also one of the best senseis and coworkers I have had the pleasure of working with. Your positivity and dedication has been an inspiration to all, especially me. Finally, my newest boss, Kiersten Holman, whose artistic vision and passion for video game aesthetics have revitalized Code Ninjas Chanhassen. You’ve created a fun, enriching environment for the ninjas and the senseis, and I’m excited to see how you continue to innovate. To all ninjas I have had the honor of working with, thank you for allowing me to mentor you. Never lose your passion for coding. Keep pushing boundaries and staying curious.

We can't wait to see what she builds next either! #STEMgirls #codingiscool #futurecoders
Senior Product Manager at Amazon | Executive MBA Candidate | Army Veteran | Global Product Strategy | Lean Six Sigma Certified with 10+ years in Transportation, Program & Product Management
Took my daughter in for her first coding session at Code Ninjas. She’ll learn basic block coding and eventually move onto JavaScript where she’ll build her own video game. Walking out I asked her what she thought about it and she said “I LOVED IT! When can I go back?!” For reference, she’s 8 and the youngest they have that go there are 6. It’s amazing that kids are able to learn skills like this at such an early age, not to mention Microsoft has a great coding platform for kids to practice in. Looking forward to seeing what she builds now + in the future 🚀💻 #girlswhocode #coding #javascript #blockcoding #kidswhocode
