🏅 #ThrowbackThursday to last week when 12 Code2College Corporate Partners competed for 1st place at our Annual Code2College Dodgeball Tournament! 📣 Shoutout to YETI, Favor Delivery, SailPoint Cirrus Logic, Deloitte, Google, Expedia Group, Emerson NI (National Instruments), IBM, Indeed, and CrowdStrike for coming out to support! 💻 The fund's raised at the tournament will go toward preparing and placing 100 high school girls, our largest class ever, into paid technical internships in Summer 2025! #HighSchoolInternships #GirlsInSTEM #DiversityInSTEM

Four years ago, we launched the Vision 2024 Initiative to ensure that our Black and Latina girls were not left behind amidst the pandemic and a pivot to virtual programming. We made a commitment to invest in and place 200 Black and Latina high school girls into paid STEM roles and we’re excited to realize that vision this year. #collegeaccess #STEMeducation #highschoolinternships

🎶 Shoutout to Group AI Music—Kendrick, Issa, Adedayo, and Hector—for their impressive work at the Code2College AI Demo Day! 🎹 This team took on the challenge of blending technology with creativity by developing a generative AI solution that integrates neural networks, machine learning, and large language models. Their project can recognize sounds, match them to specific notes, and even play what each key of a piano sounds like—an innovative way to help users learn about music. Using Flask for web development and a user-friendly UI built with CSS, Javascript, HTML, and Python, they created a seamless experience for users. The team also managed GitHub repositories and followed ethical AI practices throughout their project, ensuring responsible data use and development. 👏🏿 Kudos to Kendrick, Issa, Adedayo, and Hector for their hard work and creativity! #STEM #MachineLearning #Teamwork
