Turkey time is right around the corner, and on today's #FirstAidFriday on Good Day PA, we're looking at how to stay safe when preparing your Thanksgiving meal - live at 10am on abc27!

We'd like to share our appreciation for our area fire police! These responders are tasked with keeping scenes safe for our crews to work at, be it at traffic accidents, fire calls, or any other emergency where we're operating at or near roadways. Traffic strikes kill first responders each year, and we owe our safety to their dedication. Next time you're diverted around a scene or held up by a fire police officer, instead of getting upset or aggressive at their instructions, remember they are trying to keep first responders safe so that we all go home to our families after the call.
