Therefore, I am excited to announce that I have partnered with Ingvild Ombudstvedt (IOM Law) and Denise Hills (Advanced Resources International) to co-host a Women in CCUS Networking Reception in Calgary on the last day of #GHGT17. The reception starts at 5:30 pm at a nearby venue.   Registration is required (link in comments). To encourage attendance of those registering, we've put a nominal fee on tickets. In response to the calls for more knowledge sharing made at the #ICMforum in Pau, here is an an incredibly incomplete list of orgs/initiatives that facilitate #CCUS knowledge sharing. The below is just a small snapshot of the organizations/initiatives involved in CCUS #knowledgesharing. The annotations represent what I first think of regarding the listed organizations, but all of them do a lot more than what is listed. Authors of the SRMS (Storage Resource Management System) IOGP: Trade org. Has CCS Committee to facilitate knowledge sharing between member companies OGCI (Oil and Gas Climate Initiative): Trade initiative. Home to a storage catalogue that classifies CO2 storage resource maturity round the world using publicly available data and the SRMS Global CCS Institute: Global CCUS think tank. Source of most of the project tracking data that the community references Zero Emissions Platform: EU focused advocacy and technical org. Produced the CO2 shipping costs that most energy models use Carbon Capture and Storage Association: UK/EU trade org. Produced excellent reports on CCUS jobs
