His diverse experience spans private practice, multiple years in the insurance industry, and 25 years as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Iowa. Throughout his career, James has held key leadership roles, including Executive Director of an outpatient clinic and Vice President of Outpatient Services. His work has also included hands-on care as a private practice clinician. When asked why James chose mental health, "I have seen the profound effect trauma and emotional pain can cause and I wanted to contribute as a source of healing for others." We provide family-centered care that helps patients achieve a brighter future. The new 100-bed facility spans more than 83,000 square-feet, with a one-story area for clinical and support services and a three-story unit for inpatient and outpatient services. We welcome our patients into a network of care by partnering with academic, regional and community-based entities.
