Individuals demonstrating leadership qualities are chosen annually from across The Cianbro Companies — Cianbro, R. C. Stevens Construction Company, A/Z Corporation, STARCON International, Inc., and Total Specialty Services — to participate in our Leadership Initiative. This program is designed to strengthen management, supervisory, and leadership skills. To conclude, each of the 22 participants recently shared their project (meant to benefit the company) with a group of senior leaders. Congratulations to all who took part in this program!

75 years ago today — on December 30, 1949 — Ken and Bud joined forces with their brother Carl, and together Cianchette Brothers, Inc. was founded. A fourth brother, Chuck, would later join the team. As the company grew and entered new locations and markets, the brothers simplified the company name by taking the first four letters of Cianchette and the first three letters of brothers and reduced Cianchette Brothers, Inc. to Cianbro. What began as a small construction company in rural Maine would go on to exceed even the brothers’ wildest expectations. Today, we thank the people that have contributed to the company's growth — our past and present team members and their families, our clients and customers, and all our stakeholders — for being an integral part of our remarkable journey!
