Our mission is to find a cure and improve the quality of life for those affected by cholangiocarcinoma (bileduct cancer)
About us
The Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Its vision is to bring about a CURE for cholangiocarcinoma, more commonly known as bile-duct cancer, through Collaboration, Understanding, Research and Education. This Foundation was born out of love, and every hour that has gone into it has been volunteered by board members each one having lost a loved one to cholangiocarcinoma or suffering from cholangiocarcinoma and surviving. Many others have volunteered their time and energy to filling a need. Our vision for the foundation expands every day, it is our hope to find a cure and in the meantime to provide support, to advocate for patients and to educate those who do not yet understand.

✨ From Mentee to Mentor: Vincent & Fred's Inspiring Journey ✨ Meet Vincent and Fred, two incredible members of our #CholangioConnect community. Their connection began through our mentorship program when Fred became Vincent's mentor, offering guidance and support as Vincent navigated his cholangiocarcinoma diagnosis. But what started as a mentor-mentee relationship soon turned into a lasting friendship. Today, Vincent has come full circle—now a mentor himself, he’s paying it forward by supporting others just like Fred once supported him. Together, they embody the strength and compassion of our community. Help us celebrate Vincent, Fred, and all the amazing people making a difference in the lives of patients with cholangiocarcinoma! #Cholangiocarcinoma #StrengthInCommunity #Mentorship #PatientSupport #PayItForward #FriendshipGoals

#NationalFamilyCaregiversMonth is a time to recognize and honor the incredible individuals who dedicate their time and energy to caring for their loved ones. Hear from two legacy #cholangiocarcinoma caregivers, Katie Glenn, and Alyssa (Alie) Plouff, sharing their experiences and advice with the #CCA community. Katie and Alie understand that once you are a caregiver, you are always a caregiver. Through their grief, they share insights and advice to help others and continue to inspire us. Thank you to Incyte for helping us share these important stories, including information on #biomarkertesting and #secondopinions. #TheChOLLECTIVE #CureCCA #Caregivers #ccahope #strengthincommunity
