Our new Corpus Christi location is ready to bring our specialized pediatric care to the Coastal Bend region. We understand the unique needs of our patients and their families, and our team is dedicated to delivering the highest quality of care and support right in the comfort of your home. Introducing our Corpus Team: Office Manager- Daniel Jeffrey As the branch manager of our new South Texas branch, Daniel brings a wealth of experience from his previous roles as a client service supervisor at Aveanna and a fitness manager at Gold's Gym. With a passion for motivating his team, advocating for new patients, and fostering strong relationships with nurses and physicians, Daniel is dedicated to cultivating a culture of excellence in home healthcare throughout South Texas. Under his leadership, nurses will feel valued and appreciated, and our medically fragile patients will experience the highest standard of care. Clinical Supervisor- Jorel Orgas, RN Jorel brings over 11 years of nursing expertise, with a significant focus on pediatrics, to our team. Since joining us in 2020 as a field nurse in San Antonio, he has demonstrated exceptional dedication and skill in managing high-acuity patients. This summer, Jorel transitioned to the role of Clinical Supervisor at our Corpus Christi office. We are thrilled to have him take on this new challenge and eagerly anticipate the remarkable contributions he will make in his supervisory capacity. Are you a newly graduated nurse and interested in working with children? We have the perfect program for you. Be a part of our Nursing Extern Program, designed with you in mind! The Extern program at Children’s Home Healthcare is a paid employment opportunity for new graduates interested in pursuing a career in pediatric nursing. Extern roles are valued in our agency, and it gives nursing students the opportunity to acquire valuable skills and knowledge working with experienced nursing staff in a highly specialized pediatric environment. Our program allows nursing students to develop valued professional relationships, as well as help in making informed clinical decisions regarding specialized practices based on actual experience with nurses, patients and their families. Nurse Extern Experience at Children’s Home Healthcare - The extern will be a new graduate nurse (or new nurse to home health/pediatrics) with their nursing license. - An interview will be scheduled and nursing student will be paired with an experienced nurse who will provide mentoring/training in assigned homes. - At the end of the training, the clinical supervisor will do an evaluation and will determine if student is to be graduated and given an assignment or will need more training.
