About us
Children's Research Triangle (CRT) is dedicated to the healthy development of children and their families. CRT provides services in a friendly, personalized, family-centered atmosphere in downtown Chicago. We also work in the community with our partners, including schools and social service agencies. We help children who have a variety of challenges including Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), developmental delays, school difficulties, behavioral and emotional concerns, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders, prenatal drug exposure, and a history of childhood stress and trauma. With the support and generosity of our donors and partners, we are committed to providing needed services regardless of a family's ability to pay.

Today is Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) Awareness Day. FASD affects 1% to 5% of first graders in the U.S. and can cause a range of intellectual and behavioral problems, which appear at any time during childhood and last a lifetime. Children's Research Triangle began as an organization serving children and families impacted by FASD and this remains one of our areas of expertise.
