Trick or treating with your little monsters tonight? Stay safe with tips from the Rhode Island Department of Health: 1. Make sure small children are accompanied by an adult or an older, responsible child. 2. Have children walk, not run, from house to house and use sidewalks instead of walking in the street. 3. Only let children approach houses that have outside lights on as a sign of welcome. 4. Carry a flashlight to help see and be seen. 5.
