Empowering Individuals to Reach Their Full Potential | Supporting Organizational Success One Training at a Time | Leading AI Innovation in ECE

I am feeling incredibly grateful for the past two weeks to be able to do what I love and be around people that genuinely fill my bucket! The whirlwind of adventure started with a meeting alongside my talented team, where we engaged in discussions, built stronger connections, and started shaping some exciting goals for 2025. Their energy and collaboration were inspiring! We then shifted focus to our school leaders, training them on how to create an unforgettable experience for potential families—a reminder of the impact we have in shaping young minds! This is the first of many training sessions like this. The two weeks has been capped off with an incredible District Manager meeting, full of laughs, team building, and thoughtful support partner planning. It's moments like these that make me so proud of the work we do and the people I get to do it with! Excited for what’s to come as we continue to grow and strive toward excellence!

  • At Child Development Schools, we take immense pride in our company-wide mentoring program, IGNITE, a cornerstone of our commitment to professional growth and development. This initiative pairs experienced mentors with eager mentees to foster skill-building, capability enhancement, and meaningful relationships. Beyond these benefits, it also facilitates valuable knowledge-sharing and networking opportunities. We have six mentors this year who’ve volunteered their time and talents to coach a mentee who is looking to grow in our company.  We’d like to share some wisdom from one of our mentees, Monica Beasley, School Achievement Manager.  Q: Can you describe your approach to mentoring? What makes an effective mentor-mentee relationship? A: The most important part of being a mentor is actively listening. By doing so, there is a level of communication that is unlocked. Once this happens, it’s almost like a code is cracked and the mentee feels they have a space to share their goals, fears, weaknesses, and vulnerabilities.  Q: What is the most rewarding part of being a mentor for you? A: I love when it clicks! Fueling someone’s passion is equally fulfilling and exhilarating. Q: What are the key qualities you believe every mentor should possess? A: A mentor should have excellent communication skills and the ability to adjust to a flow that’s most effective for the mentee. Providing the mentee with challenges that foster professional growth is key.
