👮 How to be a better leader in #LawEnforcement? In support of Armenia in their ongoing reform of the Criminal Police, German police officers shared their perspectives and best practices with Armenian colleagues. In two webinars organised by #CEPOL, aligned with #CEPOL_TOPCOP goal to strengthen strategic and operational cooperation between #EasternPartnership countries and the #EU, both new recruits and re-trained staff participated. 🗣️The 23 September webinar focused on applying management approaches to operational activities. The speaker also shared insights from cases that delved into leadership and management approaches, highlighting the importance of inter-service cooperation and awareness. On 30 September, the police president from Hannover, covered the topic of police integrity, focusing on value-oriented leadership. Since the German police signed the diversity charter – an initiative to promote the recognition, appreciation, and integration of diversity into German companies and institutions – the trainer also discussed how to better attract women in leadership positions as part of an inclusive workplace. 🤝Sharing best practices on leadership and integrity is particularly important nowadays as they are closely tied to maintaining public trust and ensuring accountability within law enforcement.
