In Washington, the American Cancer Society recently awarded $223,000 in transportation and lodging grant funding to alleviate the financial burden of transportation and lodging costs for cancer patients. Fred Hutch, MultiCare Health System, and Virginia Mason Franciscan Health were some of the systems that received grants to deliver assistance directly to their patients. ACS is grateful to work alongside PNW CEO Chapter members & health system leaders to address transportation and lodging barriers to cancer treatment in our community. #accesstocare #ceosagainstcancer
