Centre for Storytelling and Development Initiative reposted this
On December 8th, I wrote an article on ending gender-based violence in Nigeria, specifically targeting women and girls. The article addressed several critical issues, including domestic violence, sexual violence, female genital mutilation (FGM), and other forms of gender-based violence. It explored potential solutions to these problems, citing relevant facts and incorporating insights from influential individuals. I was immensely gratified to have written this article. It represents an effort to address a significant societal issue – the prevalence of gender-based violence in Nigeria. I am deeply grateful to Centre for Storytelling and Development Initiative for providing me with this platform to share my perspective and contribute to a crucial societal conversation.
