🌟 Building a Thriving Practice in Rumford 🌟 Welcome Dr. Leah Getsov! She is one of four new providers to recently join the growing team at Swift River Family Medicine! Dr. Getsov, a dedicated primary care physician, is thrilled to call Rumford her new home. With special interests in chronic health management, women’s health, and mental health, she’s ready to contribute to our thriving practice in the Rumford area. “I feel it is vital for patients to not only be listened to, but to be heard. I value the trust that is built between doctors and patients, and I want to build that trust with the people in my new community.” Dr. Getsov, who graduated from Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University and completed her residency at West Suburban Medical Center, is the first in her family to enter medicine. 🌟 Home Grown Talent and Patient Care 🌟 CMMC is proud to introduce the first students of our Earn to Learn Surgical Technologist program! Achsah Davis, a medical lab assistant, and Suzanne Keene, a surgical scheduler, are on a six to nine-month journey to become certified surgical technologists. These future technologists will play a vital role in the OR, setting up surgeries, advocating for patients, and supporting the surgical team. With a national shortage of CTS professionals, this program is key to improving patient care and morale. We’re excited to watch Achsah and Suzanne grow in their careers and within our CMH family! 🌟 Introducing Our New Chief Medical Information Officer! 🌟 Pamela Petrocy, MD, is stepping into the position of Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO). In this role, she will oversee our clinical information systems, optimize the use of electronic health records, and ensure that our technology solutions align with our mission of providing safe, high-quality care. In addition to her new responsibilities, Dr. Petrocy will continue her work as a physician advisor, focusing on peer-to-peer observations and reducing denials. As CMIO, she will collaborate closely with our IT department, clinical teams, revenue cycle service lines, and leadership to ensure our systems are efficient, user-friendly, and aligned with Central Maine Healthcare’s strategic goals.
