We are so grateful for our partnership with the Saul Zaentz Charitable Foundation, and we can't wait to share more information soon about a new initiative we're currently undertaking together!

The Center for Early Learning Funding Equity team sat down recently with guest speaker Albert Wat of the Alliance for Early Success. Wat was a member of the National Academies committee that produced the groundbreaking report, “Transforming the Workforce for Children Birth Through Age 8.” Lessons from that 2015 report still resonate today, particularly as states increasingly act on some of its recommendations to rethink state financing systems in order to promote equity and increase worker compensation. CELFE is proud to partner with states in doing this work and to continue learning what financing strategies best lead to a system of care that is simpler, better, and fairer for children and families. #ECEC #AllianceforEarlySuccess #Workforce
