We are so proud of this team! Our TriStar Centennial research team is celebrating the success of a first-in-the-nation procedure. Our team is treating Tricuspid Regurgitation (TR), a heart valve disease, using a new investigational procedure option for patients with a device called Trillium. Most patients living with TR experience abnormal heart rhythms, tiredness and swelling in the legs or neck. This procedure offers an alternative to the traditional open-heart surgery, offering patients a less-invasive option. TriStar Centennial is proud to be one of only 10 investigational sites in the world utilizing this treatment, delivering safe, patient-centered care. #HealthierTomorrows #CareLikeFamily

We are so proud of 2 Centennial Heart docs, Dr. Tom Johnston and Dr. John Cleator. We appreciate the incredible medical work they do for patients, but are equally as proud of their musical talent being used for the good of others. Their groups, Hard Travelin’ and Creaky Joints, played for a fundraising event for “The Store” at the City Winery which helped raise funds for those who have food insecurities. Thanks for taking time out of your schedule, Dr. Johnston and Dr. Cleator, to help promote a great cause. TriStar Centennial Medical Center TriStar Skyline Medical Center

TriStar Health is fortunate to have years of expertise for helping patients manage their AFib, in addition to all of the latest technology to work toward a cure." COMPREHENSIVE AND COORDINATED CARE IN ONE OF THE LARGEST CICU'S IN TENNESSEE. The Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) at TriStar Centennial Medical Center is one of the largest in Tennessee. The CICU is uniquely staffed with a multidisciplinary team including Centennial Heart physicians to ensure its ability to practice systemic intensive care. The unit is managed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by a team of skilled attending cardiologists in partnership with critical care intensivists and other subspecialists to continually monitor acutely ill patients and administer any needed treatments or interventions moment to moment. “A dedicated and skilled medical team, present at all times, is essential in cardiovascular intensive care to provide best patient care management,” said Dr. Tom McRae. “Cooperation between cardiologists and intensive care specialists is crucial for coping with patients with complications such as respiratory failure, renal failure, and sepsis. The attending cardiologists from Centennial Heart collaborate closely with the TriStar Centennial Intensive Care Consultants to ensure a seamless continuity of care in the CICU.”
