Our associates from CECOP Portugal and the second trip group from CECOP España wrapped up the ViveCECOP trip to South Africa in style! 🇿🇦 Here are some of the unforgettable moments from this journey: 📍 The adventure began in the capital, Cape Town, where the members explored the marina area and ascended the majestic Table Mountain, enjoying incredible views of the entire city and coastline. 🍷 In Stellenbosch, they visited the Haute Cabrière winery, where they enjoyed some of the best wines in the world. 🐧 On the Cape Peninsula, they explored the iconic Cape Point, saw a penguin colony at Boulders Beach, and went on an unforgettable cruise to Seal Island. During the sidecar tour, the colorful houses of the Bo-Kaap neighborhood left a lasting impression. 🏞️ Heading to Victoria Falls, the group stayed at the magnificent Radisson Blu Mosi-Oa-Tunya and had the privilege of witnessing the warm African sunset during a cruise along the Zambezi River. 🐘 On the last day, they ventured on a safari through Chobe National Park, home to the largest elephant population in the world, and flew by helicopter over the stunning African landscapes. Foi durante o evento Meta Connect 2024 que a empresa de Mark Zuckerberg apresentou o primeiro modelo funcional de realidade aumentada holográfica, os óculos Orion AR. 🕶️Quanto ao design, os óculos apresentam uma estrutura grossa e um formato tradicional,, contudo Zuckerberg afirma que o design ainda não está terminado. O modelo projeta uma camada virtual sobre o mundo real, sejam objetos ou animações, permite aceder a videochamadas com outras pessoas ou assistir a vídeos e até navegar na internet. O modelo permite rastrear olhos e mãos, controlos de voz e uma interface neural. 💡 Para Zuckerberg, estes são os óculos que prometem revolucionar a tecnologia e até substituir o smartphone! Some key facts to consider: 👉 450 million children have a sight condition that requires treatment, with many unable to access affordable, available eye care. 👉 Children in low-and-middle-income countries with vision loss are 2-5x less likely to be in school. 👉 Every day, young people miss out on learning and social opportunities because of a vision issue that could be treated, corrected, and often cured.
