Beginning with time spent in Washington, D.C. at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation's Annual Legislative Conference followed by time in Denver, Colorado at the International Economic Development Council's Annual Conference! Our CEO has been digging even deeper to ensure that our team is informed, aware, and equipped to make a real difference in the communities that we serve! We are committed assisting our clients by doing "THE WORK" necessary to have impact!

On the 10th day of the summer that reached (and exceeded) a temperature of 100° here in Wichita, KS, our team spent much of the day doing "THE WORK" of community by coordinating and facilitating the City of Wichita Kansas Services Department's Project HOPE Neighbor Resource Fair! Though usually held outside, today's fair was hosted indoors in partnership with our amazing colleagues at The Salvation Army South Central Kansas! "Thank you" to all of our AMAZING partners who joined us today to make a positive difference in the lives of our unhoused neighbors! To the C3S, City of Wichita, and fair partners...You are all ROCK STARS!! ✨️ Thank you for all that you do for this community!

Congratulations to colleagues Sally Stang with the City of Wichita Kansas Housing and Community Services Department, Officer Nate Schwiethale of Wichita Police Department, and Dimitrios Mastoras of Safe Night LLC for their selection to present the work taking place to address homelessness in Wichita, KS at the International Association of Chiefs of Police's 2024 Annual Conference taking place in Boston, MA this October! Having worked with this group through the efforts of Project HOPE (https://lnkd.in/gaEF9N_q), I know that they have a story to share about how law enforcement can be mobilized in partnership to address homelessness in our communities! Congratulations again to the team!

A glimpse of the amazing community collaboration that took place at today's City of Wichita Kansas Housing & Community Services Department's Project HOPE Neighbor Resource Fair! Through the commitment of over 20 community partners, approximately 150 individuals were served today!! "THANK YOU" to our partners and volunteers who ensure we can serve this community each month!
