Starting as a performance engineer 13 years ago, Hassan is now a Senior Strategy Consultant in the Caterpillar Oil & Gas and Marine Division, steering Caterpillar’s gas compression product strategy. “It’s exciting to be working with a company that is at the forefront of introducing lower-carbon technologies across many industries. Meet Caitlyn 👋 She became a fabrication specialist through Caterpillar’s Essential Skills for Life (E4L) Program. This program captures diverse talent of local students in the short-term and drives intentional career development. After completing the program Caitlyn was hired full time. Her advice to anyone considering a welding career is, “Listen to everyone. I have been trained by many people with a lot of experience and everyone has their own way of doing things. Learn everything you can and take bits and pieces from everyone and make your own style. Do not be afraid to try new things and get out there.
