The early 1990s marked a significant shift in the U.S. electricity sector, with the onset of deregulation. This regulatory change opened opportunities for companies to streamline their operations, process utility invoices more efficiently, and achieve cost savings. Recognizing these emerging needs, many existing Cass Freight Audit & Payment clients began requesting utility invoice processing services from Cass. Cass responded, leveraging our existing operations to design a processing system tailored for utility invoices and remains dedicated to innovating utility bill management with business intelligence. Through our banking subsidiary, Cass Commercial Bank, we manage utility payments for our customers with distinguishing capability, requiring the processing power, operating systems, and financial integrity of a banking organization founded in 1906.
