The second section of NJ TRANSIT and Amtrak's Portal North Bridge sets sail from the Port of Coeymans tomorrow morning!🚢 Yesterday, this massive structure was expertly loaded onto McDonough Marine Service's MARMAC 2680 barge by Mammoet and is now ready to begin its voyage. Guided by Carver Marine Towing tugboats—Erin Elizabeth, Daisy Mae, and CMT Pike—it will travel down the Hudson River toward its destination. Assembled by Skanska Traylor Bros., Inc. JV and D.A. Collins Family of Companies, this is the second of three monumental sections designed to replace the century-old Portal Bridge over the Hackensack River in New Jersey. Stay tuned for updates as this incredible voyage unfolds!
