    We're thrilled to welcome Brandon Chen back to Cartesia as a full time Member of our Technical Staff. Brandon was a research intern at Cartesia over the past summer. He recently graduated from MIT, where he majored in computer science and studied subquadratic architectures. Brandon also previously interned at Pika, a generative video platform, and Jane Street. He also won the US Mathematical Olympiad in 2020. Reflecting on his internship experience at Cartesia, he said "I had the freedom to make key decisions about my project and come up with new ideas, while under the mentorship of world class researchers. I'm excited to be back!"

    We're excited to welcome Noah Tye to our technical staff! 🚀 Noah previously led Developer Experience at LiveKit, which provides realtime audio/video infrastructure for AI. Before that, he worked at Stripe and Twitter, and worked on developer tools at Kite and RunKit. "Real-time voice models are cutting-edge technology with clear business applications," he said, adding that writing about himself in third person feels weird. "I'm excited to build the tools for the next generation of tech products." We're excited to share several of the product features Noah is already working on very soon 🎉

    We're excited to welcome Prashant Sridhar to our technical staff! 🚀 Prashant was recently leading the speech modeling team at ASAPP, a company working to improve the contact center industry using AI. He worked on building state of the art speech-to-text models and voice agents capable of delivering a streamlined customer service experience. Prior to ASAPP, he spent 4 years at Google. "I'm excited to join Cartesia to push the boundaries of voice models. There's a lot to be excited about in voice ai today, from automating end-to-end human conversation to emotion control. I believe these technologies will be as transformative as the first smart phones and dramatically change how humans interact with the world," he said of joining Cartesia.
