It's day three of Customer Service Week, and today's spotlight is on Sonny Phillips, a Parts Sales Associate at our Richmond location. Sonny’s been a part of the Carter team for almost 30 years and says that helping customers is the best part of his role. “I like solving their problems and showcasing what Carter can do for them to support their needs,” Sonny says, “and being a part of a great team of people that have so much knowledge and are willing to jump in to assist one another and take care of our customers.” Outside of work, Sonny enjoys outdoor activities with his wife, Angela, family, and friends, as well as fishing, hiking, flea-markets, and spending time at their home on the coast.

It's day two of Customer Service Week, and today we’re focusing on Fred Bergman, a Parts Counter Advisor at our Salem, VA, location. Fred’s been with Carter for 21 years and says that one of the things he likes most about his work is helping customers keep (or get) their machines running. “I like that I have built a good relationship with customers where they will call or email me directly,” Fred shares. “But I truly would not enjoy any of it if I didn't like working where I do. The people I work with make it a joy to come to work every day.” In his free time, Fred likes to pursue his hobby of nature and landscape photography, as well as taking day hikes with his wife.
