  • We are looking for an attorney to run a local Business Litigation Group. This law firm is expanding its Charleston, SC office with an experienced business litigation attorney to lead the local litigation practice. Their team is skilled and at the forefront of business litigation and transactional law as a full-service law firm. The areas of practice include all areas of business and commercial litigation, general corporate law, corporate formation and structuring, commercial transactions, serving as outside general counsel, and more. This position is designed to be a senior associate or partner-level litigator. Will take over existing business litigation cases but preference is given to those with some existing book of business. Sample Job Responsibilities: • Handling Business and Corporate litigation from intake through trial with minimal supervision • Drafting and filing of litigation documents to include pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, motions, and memorandum • Consistent communication with their team and clients • Other tasks as necessary Minimum and Additional Qualifications: • A JD from an accredited law school & member of the SC Bar in good standing • 5-10 years of experience in litigation with knowledge of and experience in corporate litigation • Detail-oriented, hardworking, and results-driven team player • Must be a motivated self-starter • Ability to express arguments and conclusions clearly and logically • Strong research, organizational and analytical skills • Ability to analyze and synthesize facts, evidence, and legal theory and to understand and craft legal pleadings, discovery, and proposed orders • Ability to generate own client base and experience in marketing legal services • Experience trying cases as 1st chair attorney • Experience as lead case attorney capable of making independent and intelligent decisions Competitive compensation and full benefits package dependent on experience and portable book of business.   • We are urgently hiring Temporary Medical & Pharmacy Records Requesters for a well-established law firm located in the Charleston, SC area. The Medical & Pharmacy Records Request Specialist will request medical records for an upcoming claims deadline. The Medical Review Specialist will use their organizational skills, attention to detail, and Case Management system knowledge to ensure all client- and case-related documentation is requested and quickly available. The ideal candidate must be an organized self-starter! This is a full-time position that is project-based and temporary.     CLA has an immediate need for an experienced real estate attorney for a well-established title insurance agency in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will have experience closing residential and corporate real estate transactions as well as a strong understanding of title insurance.
