Did you know that one in two U.S. families experience diaper need? Lack of diapers is a public health issue that impacts the physical, mental, and economic well-being of adults, children, and families. In support of National Diaper Need Awareness Week, Carlton Fields partnered with local diaper banks across the U.S. for a donation drive. Together, our offices across the country were able to collect and donate nearly 45,000 diapers! Click through to see each office's contribution. Carlton Fields’ insolvency and creditors’ rights group, in skilled collaboration with our health care law team, helped a Maryland-based medical practice expand into Florida by acquiring the assets of a long-standing Palm Beach County allergy practice. The client provided debtor-in-possession loan financing until the debtor was able to consummate a Section 363 asset sale and confirm a liquidating Chapter 11 plan. By working collaboratively with all interested parties, the debtor was able to repay its primary secured lender in full, and will make partial payouts to its junior secured creditors and unsecured creditors. Congratulations to lead attorney Alexandra D. Blye, Esq. and the team who made this deal a true success!
