Our mission is to transform the U.S. automotive aftermarket and parts markets with our leading retail platform.

About us

CARiD is a technology-driven, digital commerce company focused on creating custom infrastructure and unique user experiences within transportation markets. Founded in 2008 as Onyx Enterprises Int'l, Corp., our vision was to create a one-stop destination for automotive parts and accessories. This was achieved with the launch of CARiD.com, which has become the premier marketplace in the category. In 2024, the parent company of CARiD, PARTS iD, Inc., reorganized under new ownership into the privately held ID Auto, Inc. Today, CARiD.com carries nearly 17 million SKUs, including name-brand aftermarket, OEM, and private-label brands across the automotive spectrum. The CARiD Drive content hub, launched in 2024, provides site users with inspiration for their next build, up-to-the-minute information about the new car market, and expert review content to help guide their next purchase decision.

Today we launched CARiD Drive, a new automotive enthusiast site for CARiD. I'm completely stoked to finally share it after many months spent taking it from concept to digital reality. Getting to see incredible work from Brett Evans, Kyle Hyatt, Gabrielle R. DeSantis-Schmauderer, and Andrew Koopman has been a pleasure. Publishing in an ad-free environment has been a revelation. I hope that you will feel the same way when you check us out. The article linked below gives more detail about what to expect from CARiD Drive from here forward. Feedback, as always, is welcomed. The next thing starts right now.

🚀🚀 Thrilled to share that CARiD.com has clinched $35 million in funding from Fifth Star, Inc., embarking on an exciting new phase in our journey. This investment not only reflects confidence in our innovative approach to the automotive e-commerce market but also aligns with the surging demand for aftermarket parts, driven by an increase in DIY auto repair and the all-time high average vehicle age of 12.5 years on U.S. roads. At CARiD, we're committed to empowering everyday drivers, enthusiasts, and professional mechanics with an extensive selection of car parts and accessories. This funding fuels our mission to expand product offerings, leverage advanced technology, and deliver unmatched customer service, meeting the growing demands of our diverse customer base.
