Each Halloween, Palace Entertainment dials up the horror at Castle Park, and Cannonball executes the ads that bring these chilling events to life (or death?). In one overnight shoot in an empty amusement park, our team unleashed all the things that make you scream. This monster movie madness provided the assets for a full-scale multimedia campaign, which included TV, OOH, social media and radio. The creepy characters on screen are all passionate Palace employees who love nothing more than scaring the bejesus out of their guests. #parksandentertainment #advertising

Halloween has officially returned to the Palace Entertainment theme parks, including a brand-new Happy Hauntings event at Story Land. For Cannonball, the spooky season started much earlier. In this summer’s record-setting New Hampshire heat, our team re-created some autumn magic for a photo and video shoot that served as the basis for this creative campaign. Social media posts and videos were created to showcase all the ways to have family fun with classic storybook characters like Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood and the Mad Hatter. It all adds up to New Hampshire’s best new way to Halloween! #parksandentertainment #advertising

WashU connects learners, thinkers, leaders and doers who inspire each other to think bigger – or in this case, much, much, smaller. As part of the university’s new brand campaign, Cannonball got to explore the WashU Mini City, where architects and computer scientists are working together to improve the safety of driverless cars. Thanks to our friends at the WashU McKelvey School of Engineering and WashU Sam Fox School for trusting us to tell the behind-the-scenes story of this tiny test environment that’s leading to big findings. At Cannonball, we combine art and science to make creative impact. Here’s one way our analytics team is using Mage to turn data-driven insights to actionable results for our clients. #MarketingAutomation #MageAI #DataOps
Unlocking Real-World Automation with Mage: A Client Success Story 🏟️⚾ We love to hear about automation and creative ways people are using Mage. Here's a home run example from Parker Goldman with Cannonball Advertising: ❌ The Challenge: - Local St. Louis business runs promos when St. Louis Cardinals score 6+ runs - Manual process: check scores, activate ads - Issues: time-consuming, prone to delays, missed opportunities ✅ The Mage Solution: - Custom Python function automated the entire process - Integrates Major League Baseball (MLB) box score API - Automatically triggers ad activation when Cardinals hit 6+ runs 🚀 The Results: - Ads go live instantly, catching the morning commute audience - No more missed opportunities or delays - Maximized impact and reach for the client's promotions This seemingly small automation made a big difference—ensuring the client never misses a chance to connect with potential customers at the perfect moment! At WashU, leading minds come together to ask big questions and find real, world-changing solutions. That’s the story Cannonball set out to tell with Marcus Foston and Fuzhong Zhang, two WashU engineers who are creating sustainable materials using a process inspired by an unexpected source – beer. Chancellor Martin truly articulates the spirit of WashU, and we experienced that collaboration first-hand working on this campaign! #WashU
#WashU is the home of learners, thinkers, leaders & doers. At the root of this is community because we know that while we are individually great, we are even better together. Collaboration makes us stronger, smarter & more informed. This is what WashU can do!

The PBR Teams season is hitting its stride, just in time for the Kansas City Outlaws home event this coming weekend. To create the look for this year’s Outlaw Days Festival, Cannonball took inspiration from the poster art of iconic Western films, pairing a dramatic silhouetted figure with a minimal color palette and bold, attention-grabbing type. Cannonball’s look was carried across all event communications, including a new logo, announcement poster, digital billboard, festival map and schedule. #KCOutlaws #PBR #OutlawDays

WashU is kicking off the school year with a new campaign to show the world who they are and what they can do. Cannonball worked alongside the university’s marketing and communications team to create a brand narrative and creative campaign that would reflect WashU’s key strength– a commitment to collaboration that fuels discovery across different schools, academic fields and corners of the globe. In addition to the anthem, Cannonball is producing a series of story-specific videos that will live on the university website, newly refreshed to bring the campaign’s look and feel to life. We can’t wait to share the leading-edge work that WashU is doing to solve our biggest societal challenges. Thanks again to our friends at WashU and Bruton Stroube Studios for their ongoing partnership! #WashU #HigherEd Washington University in St. Louis
