Congratulations to our Sojourns Scholars who contributed to this book, "Spiritual Care in Palliative Care"! Edward Penate, Sarah Byrne-Martelli, DMin BCC-PCHAC, Paul Galchutt, MDiv, MPH, BCC and Allison Kestenbaum specialize as chaplains in the field of palliative care and we are so honored to support their work.
New book out! I worked with an international panel of interprofessional leaders and experts to produce the first comprehensive guide to spiritual care in palliative care. I'm grateful to have co-written two chapters ("Barriers to Spiritual Care in Palliative Care" and "The Role of the Palliative Care Chaplain in the United States") alongside my esteemed sojourns scholars Allison Kestenbaum, Sarah Byrne-Martelli, and Paul Galchutt. Available on SpringerLink.

Congratulations to Tracy Fasolino and Carey Candrian who will serve in the 1-year program to work on a diverse range of aging-related issues, both in Washington DC and nationwide. Did you know that new fathers can experience postpartum depression? It can have the same negative effect on partner relationships and child development as postpartum depression in mothers. That's why we're supporting an upcoming continuing education opportunity with Postpartum Support International in Salt Lake City, UT for providers to learn more about this important topic. Attendees will gain valuable knowledge of the key factors related to fathers as they navigate the transition to parenthood and how to apply effective approaches in their care.
