Jessi Webster (pictured, left) married and started a family while still in high school. After opting for a GED so she could prioritize caring for her children, she felt hindered in finding meaningful employment. Her trajectory took a remarkable turn when a perceptive customer--who happened to be a JATC instructor--recognized her potential and recommended the electrical industry. Jessi seized the opportunity and applied to the apprenticeship program. She found herself quickly dispatched to CVE, marking the beginning of a transformative career. She progressed through her apprenticeship, accumulated valuable experience, earned her journeyman's license and eventually assumed leadership roles such as project engineer and foreman. Jessi currently serves as a General Foreman at a CVE project in Texas. Leveraging her knowledge and expertise, she actively contributes to empowering and uplifting others within the electrical trade. #wicweek2024
