High Lander subsidiary BIRDS joins Brazil's nation UTM project. High Lander announced on November 7 that BIRDS, their Sao Paulo based subsidiary, will provide the VEGA UTM solution as part of Brazil’s national unmanned air traffic management (UTM) project.

Kyiv endures a sustained effort to overwhelm C-UAS defences A sustained Russian drone assault on Kyiv overnight stretched for eight hours, causing injuries and damage to buildings across the Ukrainian capital. D-Fend forms partnership with U.S. Navy for C-UAS testing D-Fend Solutions has partnered with the U.S. Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) under its Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) programme. FAA issues RFI to support UAS integration The FAA UAS Integration Office has issued an RFI to industry stakeholders. The RFI seeks insights into research that could support the safe integration of emerging aviation technologies, such as drones and advanced air mobility vehicles, into the National Airspace System. Ukrainian electronic warfare is disrupting civilian smartphones The General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces has warned that smartphone clocks across Ukraine may experience disruptions due to the deployment of electronic warfare systems aimed at countering Russian drone attacks. Ukrainian C-UAS defences tested by latest Russian attack At 8 p.m. Kyiv time on November 4, Russia launched its latest aerial assault on multiple Ukrainian regions, the Ukrainian Air Force has reported. Stealth UAS spotted near Lebanon sparks discussion over origin A video posted online last week by an individual claiming to be a resident of Lebanon has ignited debate among defence experts over the appearance of an unidentified stealth drone flying near southern Lebanon.
