Recent data reveals: DEI WORKSHOPS DON’T WORK WHEN WE TALK ABOUT WORK. THEY WORK BEST WHEN WE TELL OUR STORIES. Diversity in the workforce is not as clear as it once was. 55% of the adult U.S. population identify as an LGBTQ+ Ally, and 7.1% identify as LGBTQ+. Self-identified Allyship doesn’t necessarily capture how people are connected to the LGBTQ+ Community through directed, extended, or chosen family, not to mention friendship. Understanding each other and creating a more inclusive workplace through Allyship is vital to improving productivity. Bursting Through Allyship Awareness Workshops use the power of storytelling and personal experiences to connect people and strengthen relationships.
