We are proud our newest associate attorney, Jay Spring, was named as the "One to Watch" by the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers ("DAYL"). Every month, the DAYL carefully selects one attorney from its extensive membership to be recognized and prominently featured as the “One to Watch”. This distinguished acknowledgement serves as a testament to the recipient’s exceptional contributions to DAYL and sets them apart as a promising leader within the legal community. We are proud to announce that Jay Spring has joined the firm as an associate attorney. Jay’s practice focuses on business litigation, professional liability, finance and banking litigation, as well as tax litigation at the state and local levels. He is licensed to practice law in Texas and Louisiana.   Jay earned his law degree at Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 2020, where he graduated magna cum laude and was selected as a member of the Order of the Coif and Order of Barristers. He also served as an editor for the SMU Law Review and was a mock trial champion.   Jay also served as an extern to Judge Catharina Haynes of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and to Justice Elizabeth Lang-Miers of the Texas Court of Appeals (Fifth District). In 2022, the State Bar of Texas and the Texas Bar College awarded Jay the Steven G. Condos Award for Outstanding New Member to the College.   “To say we are lucky to have Jay join us would be an understatement,” says firm co-founder Robert Bogdanowicz. “Jay has accomplished more in three years of practice than most do in a decade. He brings a wealth of practical experience that our clients will benefit from enormously.”   In addition to maintaining a busy practice, Jay volunteers his limited free time to teach trial advocacy skills as a coach for Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law’s mock trial program. He is also heavily involved in the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers’ Bolton Ball Committee, which produces one of the Dallas legal community’s premiere charity fundraisers.
